Next Race: Clipsal 500

10th November 2003:

Chris Gilmour wins at Wakefield Park in Round 4 of Yokohama Trophy:

  • Rounding out our F3 debut, Chris started on pole position for Race 1 on the weekend. With a fastest lap and a race win, Chris obtained the maximum race points of 22 points for race 1, putting him contention for the championship lead after only competing in four rounds of the eight round championship.
  • Transmission failure in Race 2 caused a DNF - did not finish, for Chris, but the team were extremely happy with the season, racing for Scud Racing. Bill Maddocks, team owner of Scud Racing went on to tie equal first in the championship with Chris Coombs and David Borg, well done Bill!
  • Chris would like to thank Bill Maddocks and Sucd Racing for a tremendous debut season in F3 and the Yokohama Trophy, and we look forward to competing in the 2004 Formula 3 Championship in our new 1999/2001 Dallara.
